Coming soon: utility proximity mapping.
For now, use this manual checklist to avoid assuming that a line on a map means connection is available.
- Find the water district or private water company.
- Find the sewer provider and ask whether sewer is actually available to the parcel.
- Check electric utility service territory and required line extension costs.
- Ask about fire access, fire flow, hydrants, and driveway requirements.
- Ask about meter upgrades, connection fees, capacity fees, trenching, and easements.
